Update following Newport County (Home)

Macclesfield Town played out a goalless draw with the Exiles of Newport County on Easter Monday. The home side did have the opportunity to pick up maximum points against their play-off chasing visitors, however these chances were not converted and both sides had to settle for a share of the spoils. When asked who was your stand out player was for the Silkmen, there were votes for Miles Welch-Hayes, Kieran O’Hara and Brice Mtambwe, however for a commanding display in the centre of defence, the Star Lane End Man of the Match goes to Fiacre Kelleher. Well done Fiacre, thoroughly deserved!
