Man of the Match: Exeter City (Home)

Macclesfield Town claimed a precious three points against Exeter City on Tuesday evening which saw the Silkmen climb out of the relegation places for the first time since August. The visiting side had twice taken the lead during the game, however a Harry Smith brace and a Michael Rose penalty ensured that the Moss Rose faithful were celebrating wildly as the referee blew the full-time whistle. There were many good performances on the night, but who do you feel was the Silkmen’s stand out performer?

Update following Morecambe (Home)

The Silkmen picked up a point on Saturday, as Elliott Durrell’s strike in the 33rd minute cancelled out the Shrimps opener just seven minutes earlier. When asked who your Man of the Match was, there was honourable mentions for Zak Jules and James Pearson, however for running his socks off during the game and for claiming the crucial equaliser for the Moss Rose club, the Man of the Match goes to our wizard on the wing Elliott Durrell. Well done Elliott and we look forward to seeing you produce more magic moments in our last few games of the season!
