Man of the Match: Stevenage (Home)

The Silkmen magician that is Danny Whitaker grabbed a 93rd equaliser against Stevenage on Saturday to send the Moss Rose faithful wild. Macc had taken the lead through an Elliott Durrell strike in the 42nd minute, however the Boro hit back twice and were heading back to Hertfordshire with three points only for our legendary midfielder to hit back late on. So looking back at the game now, who was your Silkmen Man of the Match?

The Star Lane End Man of the Match online vote is now open and you can vote via the The Star Lane End Facebook page or email your nomination to Gmacworth@aol.com.

Update following Yeovil Town (Away)

The Silkmen picked up a massive three points at Huish Park against relegation rivals Yeovil Town as first half strikes from James Pearson and Harry Smith meant that the Moss Rose club would be leaving Somerset in high spirits. When asked who your Man of the Match was, there were votes for wing wizard Elliott Durrell, Harry Smith and Danny Whitaker (for the fact that he is back on the pitch for our beloved blues). However, for a great display as well as scoring Macc’s all important first goal of the game, the Man of the Match goes to James Pearson. Well done James and keep up the impressive performances!
