Player Profiles: Reece Cole

Reece George Cole was born on the 17th February 1998 in Hillingdon, Greater London.

Reece started his football career at Brentford, making his way through the under 15 and under 18 before signing a scholarship deal with the Bees at the end of the 2013/2014 season. Cole played more of a role within the Development squad during the 2015/2016 season and secured a professional contract with the club in February 2016. Towards the end of the season, the midfielder was an unused substitute for several first team matches in April 2016. In March 2017, Reece made his senior debut for the club, making a late substitute appearance in a 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest. A month later, the promising youngster would sign a three year contract with the side from Greater London and in July 2017, Cole scored in pre-season friendly wins against Aldershot Town and Oxford United.

In August 2017, Reece signed for League 2 side Newport County on a six month loan and would score on his debut for the club in a match against Coventry City. However his loan spell with the side from Rodney Parade would be cut short following a knee injury and returned to his parent club. The midfielder had short loan spells with Yeovil Town and Maidenhead United in 2018, where he scored on his debut for the National League club, in a 1-1 draw with Ebbsfleet United.

Cole signed on loan for Macclesfield Town on the 11th January 2019 until the end of the season.
