A View From The West: Swindon Town (H)

Ryan Cawley returns with his ratings following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Swindon Town:

O’Hara – 8.5 – Pushed Cameron to MoM with three fantastic saves.

Hodgkiss – 5 – Looked like a player lacking game time, very rusty performance.

Cameron – 9 – MoM – Defence is a million miles better with big Nathan in it. Wins everything. Calm collected performance.

Kellegher – 7.5 – A couple of suspect moments but recovered and put his body on the line.

Fitz – 7 – Played better than against Tranmere, some important blocks.

Maycock – 7 – Ran his socks off and some good passes.

Rose – 6 – Quieter game and poor free kick / lack of bringing down their breaking player led to a second goal.

Arthur – 6 – No end product.

Lloyd – 7 – Passes caused Swindon problems, hope he’s not back on the long term injury list.

Ryan Lloyd: The Silkmen are hoping and praying for good news in relation to Ryan’s injury in Saturday’s game. Get well soon Lloyd! (Image courtesy of Chelsie Wilson).

Marsh – 6.5 – Took his goal well but we looked poor overall in the final third.

Wilson – 6 – Some good runs in behind, missed a couple of first half chances.

Welch-Hayes – N/A – Barely touched the ball.

Vincenti – Only item of note was a school boy back turn.

Campbell – 6 – 4 days into the window Blissett or Napa not replaced. In desperate need of strengthening the squad / first team injured players returning. Unlucky today, deserved at least a point.

Whitaker – Back on the bench as assistant, the sooner he is fit to play the better.
