Man of the Match: Stevenage (Away)

The Silkmen’s winless run in League 2 continued on Saturday as they lost 1-0 at Hertfordshire club Stevenage. For those Macc fans present, which player gave their all for our beloved club?

The deadline for the Stevenage Man of the Match is on Friday 14th September at 2p.m! Your vote counts as the Star Lane End Player of the Year will pick up their award at the end of the season.

Update following Blackpool (Checkatrade Trophy game)

Following our win against Blackpool, Silkmen goalkeeper Rhys Taylor finished in 3rd place for an important spot-kick save in the shoot-out, Malachi Napa finished in second place following an impressive display, however the SLE Man of the Match winner was Macc midfielder Michael Rose, following a fantastic finish in the first half and two penalties, one during 90 minutes of play and the decisive one in the shoot-out!
