Congratulations Tranmere!

Tranmere Rovers joined us in League Two yesterday, after they fought back from having a man sent off in the opening minute to defeat Boreham Wood.

Liam Ridehalgh was dismissed after just 48 seconds for the Super White Army, yet they took the lead five minutes later through Andy Cook.

Despite the fact that Andrade equalised for The Wood in first half injury time, James Norwood secured Tranmere’s return to the Football League with an 80th minute strike.


Sir John’s side memorably beat the Birkenhead outfit by four goals to one back in February, in a match which live in everyone’s memory forever.
