National League Unveil Volunteer Awards

The National League has announced that alongside their Player and Manager of the Month awards, volunteers will be honoured in the same manner.

The Vanarama Volunteer of the Month award was unveiled last month, with the inaugural winner set to be announced this Friday.

Speaking to the National League website, Brian Barwick, Chairman of The National League, said:

The launch of the Vanarama Volunteer of the Month awards is a great way of showing appreciation of the valuable work many achieve through sheer commitment and loyalty to their clubs.

It is right we should recognise the contribution of their professionalism and dedication despite many obstacles they often encounter.

Long may they continue to give unstinting service and personally reflect in how they help the game in general.”

Brian Barwick. Chairman of the National League.

The overall winner of the Vanarama Volunteer of the Year will be announced at the National League AGM in June, which will be held at the illustrious Celtic Manor.
