A View From The West – Bromley (H)

Thanks to the legend that is Ryan Cawley, we will now be starting up a new feature on SLE where Ryan gives us his assessment of how the players performed during games.

Here is the first instalment from yesterday’s stalemate against Bromley –

Jalal 6 – Went off injured after an hour or so, didn’t have anything to do all game really.

Yates 6 – Passing was suspect at times

Kennedy 8MOM – Started his first league game for the club in the absence of Pilks, had a solid game

Kieran Kennedy (CW)

Lowe 8 – Won everything again

Fitz 8 – Solid as ever, did no wrong

Baba 7 – Some more pot shots and controlled the midfield

Whit 7 – Quieter game for Danny

Arthur 7 – Looked a threat first half, had a quieter second and got subbed. Biggest threat going forward.

Lloyd 6 – Quiet game, couple of decent crosses but was then subbed

Ryan Lloyd (CW)

Toure 7 – Did ok, playing out of position on the wing. Few touches of brilliance, but also gave the ball away too regularly. Ying and Yang man.

Marsh 7 – Did well but lacked support

O’Brien 6 – Did ok, like Jalal had little to do and took his time kicking

Wilson 6 – Ran hard but didn’t get involved enough in the game

Hancox 6 – Only had ten mins or so, put himself about but couldn’t lift the team to a winner

Askey 8 – Questionable starting Toure on the wing, but was the more attacking option to replace Durrell rather than Mitch.

Would rather see us go for home games, so no qualms from me.

Kennedy also did well coming in for Pilks.

Made subs to try and change the game. We were the better team but couldn’t create anything clear cut. Still unbeaten though 👍

Bill and Byron (Chelsie)

Speed drills on the cards for Bill this week! (Pic courtesy of Chelsie Wilson).

“Bills Ball Bag” view – Busy day for William with both keepers making an appearance. Neither had much to do and both looked calm and composed.

O’Briens kicking was good, but needs to pick up the pace.

Bill will be working on speed drills this week.

On to Sutton United on Tuesday!
