Coming Soon : The Gil Prescott Interview

Gil Prescott was a main who played an integral part in our glory years of the late 1990s. As Assistant to Sammy McIlroy, he helped to guide The Silkmen from a side who had previously escaped relegation from the Vauxhall Conference on the last day of the 1992/3 season, to one which would compete with the likes of Stoke and Manchester City as equals in the Second Division of the then Nationwide League.

Now an international scout, Gil has kindly agreed to speak with us about his time at Macc – which also included a stint as Manager following McIlroy’s departure for his beloved Northern Ireland.

Gil remains a very likeable and charismatic figure and he was eager to help us out with an interview – so if you have any questions which you would like putting to the great man himself, then use the comments box below and keep your eyes peeled for his response!
