Macclesfield Town have re-signed goalkeeper Shwan Jalal from National League rivals Wrexham.
The 33 year old moved to the Racecourse Ground last summer, but after a season blighted with injury and disappointment, he returns to the Moss Rose hoping to command a regular first team spot.
Speaking to the official site, Shwan stated that he had no hesitation about coming back to the club, and has absolute faith that Sir John can build another successful team ahead of the 2017/18 season.
The signing which has been welcomed by pretty much all fans is the third player to sign on following Scott Wilson and Jared Hodgkiss earlier in the week.
The future of Craig Ross at the club is now uncertain as he is yet to commit to a new contract and it is questionable whether he would resign himself to the role of second choice ‘keeper behind Shwan.
