Player Profiles: Callum Evans

Callum started his career as a fourteen year old in the youth system at Manchester United, progressing into the U21 side before being released in June 2015.

From Old Trafford, Evans joined Championship side Barnsley, before his brief loan spell with The Silkmen which was cut short due to injury.

In May 2017, Calum joined newly promoted side Forest Green Rovers, before moving to Torquay United on loan in September 2017.

Callum returned to the Moss Rose in January 2018, in a loan deal until the end of the season. Evans would go on to make 14 appearances for The Silkmen until the remainder of the season, becoming an influential part of the Silkmen’s success.

In May 2018, Callum signed a two year deal with the club and we hope to see more impressive displays from the 22 year old in our return to the Football League.
